About Me
- Name: Ryszarda L.Pelc
- Location: Hancock, Michigan, United States
Ryszarda L. Pelc, was born and educated in Poland. She got a master degree in liberal arts at the University of Wroclaw. In 1985, she came to the U.S. accompanying her husband Karol. Ryszarda Lida Pelc has won awards and honorable mentions in poetry contests. She received the Golden Poet Award in 1989 and in 1990. Her poems have been published in nine anthologies such as “American Poetry Anthology 1990” (The American Poetry Association), “Great Poems of the Western World,” “The Best Poems of 1996,”(National Library of Poetry), and “ Songs of Honor”(Nobel House 2006) The collection of her early poems, entitled “Fascination,” was published in 1989. Pelc is a freelance author. Her essays, short stories and articles appeared in several Polish language journals in the U. S., Canada, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and Belgium. Ryszarda L. Pelc has also been published on the Internet.
